I am a nurse and have a Masters of Nursing in Clinical Research Management. I currently work as a nurse case manager and love my job; however, it can be emotionally draining. I see the harsh reality of what so many are going through - young and old. I just hope and pray each day to make a small difference in someone's life. Many people just need to know someone is on their side.
Photography helps me let go of reality for a brief moment in time. It gives my mind the opportunity to drain the day's worries and regain strength.
When I create abstract images, I can relax my mind and tap into an imaginary world. I love the excitement of unknown outcomes and the uniqueness of each image. - images that cannot be reproduced. I typically shoot without expectation. I shoot for the joy it brings and the positive effect it has on my life. Abstract art just speaks to me and allows me to imagine what might be.
Photography is a wonderful place for my mind to be.
